The Artist

The work of Mikki Mallow, Dallas-based artist, designer and philanthropist can be described as abstract and figurative with a focus on color, form and the emotions they evoke.  Mikki’s artistic presence can be felt locally, nationally and digitally, finding success through her website and internet sales.  Her frequent charity events have also expanded her artistic “footprint.”  She has exhibited in over 25 group and solo shows, including “Move”, “Sugar Fix and “I see dead people.”

Mallow is a graduate from the Art Institute of Dallas.  Her background and studies in design are always shaping the content of her work artwork. Fondly dubbed “The Museum” by friends, her studio inspires her work, which includes video production, event planning, performance, music and dance. She uses these elements in creating unique and memorable pop style installations encompassing a full sensory art experience.

Mikki’s interests shape the content of her work.  Her inspirations include light, movement, water, color, film, print, photography, architecture & design, music, glass, candy, travel, family and friends, contemporary art in all forms and mediums, and artists such as Chihuly, LaChapelle, Ann Hamilton, Chuck Close, Lichtenstein and Warhol.
